Privacy Policy for Grimory (App)

Introduction

Grimory ("the App", "we", "us") is a mobile application developed and published by MontChristo ("the Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

Grimory does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. There are no servers. The App functions entirely offline.

All character data, game state, scores, and preferences you create inside Grimory are stored locally on your device using the Android Room database and Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it using the built-in "Export" feature, in which case you choose where the resulting file is saved.

Advertising

Grimory displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, including:

  • Device identifiers (such as the advertising ID)
  • Approximate location (based on IP address, at country/region level)
  • Device model, operating system version, and language
  • Interaction data (ad views, clicks)

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. We do not have access to the raw data AdMob collects.

You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your Android device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (or "Opt out of Ads Personalization").

In-App Purchases

Grimory offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Grimory Premium") processed by Google Play Billing. When you make a purchase, Google handles the entire transaction. We do not receive or store your payment information, credit card details, or billing address.

Children's Privacy

Grimory is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device, we do not retain any data. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data. Exported backup files are stored wherever you choose to save them and are your responsibility.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store personal data on any server, there is no data for us to delete, export, or modify on our side. To delete locally stored data, simply uninstall the App or clear its storage through Android settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
